My Kind of Edgy: Stories, Poems
I realized that 'edge' is a concept with more than one set of legs.
An 'Edge' can be a lot of things. It's a word with more than one set of legs. Spidery. Sneaky. Overpowering. Naked. Invisible. True.
Words are my tools for working on the edge of life.
Edgy for me means all-in, as far as I can go, and always pushing to get a little further. Opening doors into new dimensions. Launching ideas. Wild ideas. Deep feelings. Visiting the unknown in order to go further.
I do not mean trendy-edgy. I never met a trend I liked; I just know how to do me. Emotion, science fiction, poetry. Smashing up against convention and blowing away the cobwebs. Troublesome truths.
